The wrap itself acts like a warm towel hugging your body and removing toxins through the pores of your skin. Additional toxins continue to be flushed away even after the treatment is complete. WHAT IS DETOX MUD/CLAY WRAPPING TREATMENT?
A popular treatment at most Salons and Spas. There are many types of spa body wrap treatments which are used to help clients to detoxify and soften the skin to remove toxins in the body, your client lays on a massage table and gets rubbed down with an exfoliating scrub, in whatever variety you your offer (most spas offer a few options). After your client is rinsed off in a shower or with warm water and mitts, the wrap ingredients are then applied (maybe seaweed, mud, clay or an herbal or fruit product) to their body, covering it with a layer of plastic wrap. Once your client is all wrapped up, you then cover with sheets, towels and thermal blankets. Your Client is then left alone to relax - and sweat - for about 30 minutes.
