WHAT IS A THAI HERBAL COMPRESS AND ACUPRESSURE FACIAL MASSAGE THERAPY TREATMENT?
Used for centuries in Traditional Thai massage therapy, Thai Herbal Facial Compress Balls are a wonderful way to combine heat therapy, herbal therapy, and aromatherapy in one modality. Thai herbal facial compresses are usually soaked in warm water which releases the healing properties of the medicinal herbs inside. The herbs help nourish and revitalize the skin, making the face silky-smooth, soft, and young-looking. The herbal facial compresses stimulate and improve blood and lymph circulation keeping skin healthy and invigorated. Thai herbal facial compresses can be used either hot or cold depending on the ailments they are being employed to treat. The compresses can be rolled or gently pressed on affected areas or simply left on one spot on the face for a length of time. Thai acupressure is the physiotherapy of Thailand. It is widely practiced in Thailand, but less know among most non-Thais. Once the face is warmed up with the Thai Herbal Compress Balls the Thai Facial Points are then stimulated with fingers and Thai Massage stick. It is a very relaxing but energising treatment.
